This month's host is Susan Spiegel Solovay. A suggested donation of $5 will help maintain the event.

Storybook Exhibition Just For Kids!

The Little Gallery at CPC 137 Front Street, Housatonic, MA

Join local author and children’s mindfulness expert Elizabeth Heller as she guides kids to Super Journal ™ their way to imaginative story creation. In this one-hour workshop Kids will:

  • Learn fun breath tools to cultivate calm and focus
  • Practice fun body shapes to generate energy and creativity
  • Take a guided journey through the Storybook Exhibit by artist and Executive Director Andreas Engel and choose a photograph to inspire the creation of their own story
  • Make their own “footnote” art to be framed, hung, and sold in the CPC gallery (when the art sells, kids can keep the money or donate some or all to CPC!)

Free event! (Suggested donation of $20 welcome)

Bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothes.

The Kids Super Journal by Elizabeth Heller and prints from the exhibit along with other unique holiday items will be for sale in the CPC Shop.

In this six-part drawing workshop, participants will learn a wide range of visual, technical, and expressive drawing techniques to take their drawing to the next level regardless of prior experience. Learn or revisit fundamentals and usher in advanced methods in a supportive setting. Each session will have a specific area of focus and instruction, and end with a constructive critique by the instructor. Storyteller Night!
