Opening Reception: “Erasures” an exhibition of works by Laura Didyk

Open to the public. Come and join artist Laura Didyk for the opening reception of Erasures, an exhibit of her original works on paper. Also referred to as “blackout” or “redacted” poetry, this work is a conversation between the artist and pages from books and magazines—through mark-making as well as subtracting and highlighting existing text, visual narratives and new meanings emerge. The exhibition will feature over 20 pages of original works, along with a selection of archival print reproductions. The exhibition will run through August 26, 2023.
